BCPL celebrated 77th Republic Day on 26 January 2026 across all the operational units. The event commenced with unfurling of the national tricolour at Administrative Building by Shri Pruthiviraj Dash, Director (Finance), BCPL. Shri Pranjal Changmai, Managing Director, BCPL & the Chief Guest, unfurled the National Flag at BCPL Township, Barbaruah and took the salute & inspected the Guard of Honour. CISF contingent of Lepetkata, DGR Security, NCC cadets from DHSK College, MDKG College and NEFSA participated in the march past.
Managing Director, BCPL extended the Republic Day greetings and extended his thanks to the employees, CISF, AISF and all stakeholders for their dedicated service in ensuring the safety and security of the plant & township. Family members of BCPL employees and CISF Personnel performed during the event. A friendly football match was played between BCPL and CISF personnel of Lepetkata. Employees, family members, senior officials of BCPL along with CISF personnel & family members were present on the occasion.

BCPL celebrated its 19th Foundation Day on 8th January 2026
BCPL celebrated its 19th Foundation Day with great pride and enthusiasm on 8th January 2026 in the premises of BCPL Petrochemical Complex at Dibrugarh. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed by a cake-cutting ceremony. Shri Pranjal Changmai, Managing Director, BCPL addressed the gathering and congratulated the employees for their dedicated service. Shri Pruthiviraj Dash, Director (Finance) also congratulated the gathering and all stakeholders on the occasion. Renowned artist Pandit Indra Nath Konwar and Pandit Kaushik Konwar associated with BCPL in commemorating 150th years of Vande Mataram, the national song of India. Employees of BCPL presented a chorus celebrating 100th birth anniversary of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, the bard of Assam.
On the occasion, employees completing 10 and 15 years of dedicated service to the company were felicitated by the senior management. Prizes were also distributed to winners of the quiz and paper presentation competitions. Senior officials, invited guests, employees attended the celebration, making the event truly memorable.
Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) 2025 observed in BCPL
Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) 2025 was observed in BCPL, Dibrugarh, from 27 October to 2 November 2025 as per the guidelines issued by Central Vigilance Commission on the theme:
“Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility”. The programme was inaugurated by administering Integrity Pledge by all employees in presence of Shri Pranjal Changmai, Managing Director on 27th October 2025 at the Administrative Building, BCPL, Dibrugarh.
Various activities were organized during the week to re-affirm our commitment to promotion of integrity and probity in public life through citizen participation. The activities included classroom trainings, online quiz competition, essay writing, art competition & slogan competition on the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility" for employees, contractual workers, family members of BCPL employees and students of nearby areas.
The closing ceremony of VAW 2025 was organized on 03rd November 2025 in the Administrative Building, Dibrugarh. The chief guest of the closing programme was Shri Pranjal Changmai, Managing Director, BCPL. During the meeting Shri Pruthiviraj Dash, Director (Finance), Shri Joyonto Panging, Chief Operating Officer, BCPL, Shri Sitangshu Paul, Chief General Manager(O&M) and other senior officials and employees of BCPL were present. A presentation on the weeklong activities was presented by Ms. Kaberi Kakati, Senior Manager (Vigilance).
Shri Pranjal Changmai, Managing Director, BCPL urged the entire BCPL fraternity to maintain transparency and integrity in the workplace and to abide by the procedures and policies; Shri Pruthiviraj Dash, Director (Finance) also asked the employees to maintain integrity in workplace for better growth of the organisation. Senior officials and employees were also present in the closing ceremony. A short interaction was also organised amongst the employees present in the ceremony wherein they gave suggestions and expressed their views. The programme concluded with prize distribution ceremony of the various competitions.
