Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited observed Sanrakshan Kshamata Mahotsav, Saksham-2019, an initiative by Petroleum Conservation Research Association ( PCRA) under Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoP&NG) to create awareness on fuel conversation. The event commenced with the inaugural and pledge taking ceremony on 16^th January where Shri A K Singh, Managing Director was present as Chief Guest. An awareness session for drivers was organized on 1^st February at the Material Gate of BCPL and a mass walking rally was conducted on 13^th February on NH-37 for sensitizing the local people of Barbaruah & Lepetkata area about fuel conservation. In addition to this various activities were organized in the month long drive comprising of auto emission testing workshop, online quiz, essay writing competition and drawing competition and awareness sessions for employees and family members.

The event concluded with a meeting and prize distribution ceremony on 15^th February 2019 at BCPL Lepetkata. Shri Pruthiviraj Dash, Director (Finance) & Shri P. Nagesh, Chief Operating Officer along with other senior officials and employees graced the ceremony.  Saksham 2019 on the theme “Indhan Sanrakshan Ki Zimmedari, Jan Gan ki Bhagidari” was a huge success in BCPL with participation and involvement of employees, family members and stakeholders.
